General Appearance of Bulldog


The Bulldog is a breed with remarkable wide head and shoulders. There are normally thick wrinkles of skin on a Bulldog's forehead; Eyes are rounded and black. Muzzle of Bulldog is short above the nose; lynching skin under the neck; loose lips and sharp teeth and occasionally, an under bite. The coat of is short, flat and sleek, with colors of red, fawn, white, brindle (mixed colors, often in waves or irregular stripes), and piebald.

According to Wikipedia "In the USA, a typical mature male weighs approximately 45–55 pounds. Mature females weigh in at approximately 45 pounds. In the United Kingdom, the breed standards are 50 pounds for a male and 40 pounds for a female. Bulldogs are one of the few breeds whose tail is naturally short and either straight or screed and thus is not cut or docked as with some other breeds."
